Cartoon of bending magnet radiation emission 

This animation creates a cartoon of radiation produced tangentially to the path of an electron as it passes along a bending-magnet dipole. The user can choose between a fast (2.35 s) and slow (4.7 s) version when running the matlab code. The downloadable movie is of the fast version.
